Vlogging in Belgium

Recently I went to Liège, Belgium, with The BRIT School on a student exchange. Funded by the Comenius Project, a group of five and I went to visit Belgium on the Eurostar for four days. This trip allowed us to gain an insight in the culture, but also meet fellow students an 'build international relationships'. Be sure to watch this!
Also, my friend Jack released a similar video on the visit. Watch that below!
I filmed the video using a Canon 600D DSLR and I edited it with Final Cut Pro.

Draw Your Life - Lewis Spearing

Draw Your Life is a new craze on YouTube where users get a whiteboard and draw out their entire life up to the present day, giving the audience a greater insight to their upbringing and their own individual journey through life. I was talking to my good friend and YouTuber Ryon Nethercott (youtube.com/RyonNethercott) where he mentioned this to me. So, with his help I decided to draw my own and upload it to YouTube. Its taken the last few days to compete (damm you After Effects), but I really hope you enjoy it. Please take this opportunity to draw your own life as I would love to see what you guys have been up to.

Please show your support by liking this video if you liked it!

BRIT FM

During the final few weeks at the BRIT School, BDC strand take to the airwaves and go live to Croydon and online with BRIT FM. This year, BRIT FM has been live between July 11th to July 20th featuring plenty of shows and music from many different genres. I was placed in a group of peers within the BDC stand and produced a show called BRIT Lunch. BRIT Lunch is BRIT FMs lunch time show, which focuses on life at The BRIT School, but also features quiz and a game we call "What Words Next?"! I was lucky enough to present the first show, and then again on the third. It was an amazing experience being able to go live to a massive audience. I felt that I coped well under the pressures of being in a constant environment, where timing was critical! If the show was running too fast or slow, it was up to the producers to feed that information to us presenters; where we had to improvise to get the show back on track. It was a great way to understand the pressures of working in radio; and I really felt that presenting is a very possible career for me, as I seriously enjoyed it.

I also managed to get a show with my friends during the weekend; which we volunteered to do. The show was called 3 at 3 and originally aired on July 14th at 3:15PM. You can listen to show below, and my other BRIT Lunch shows will be available online in the following months.

You can still listen to BRIT FM! We're on FM if you live in the Croydon area - 87.9FM or online.
